The transportation event held tonight by the Montgomery County Planning Commission and SEPTA was a rather lame affair. There were about 30 people in attendance and the vast majority, we believe, were other government people or transportation vendors, etc. There were at least five people from SEPTA alone. There were maybe three or four regular citizens. We felt like we were at a Soviet style reading of the five year plan. Apparatchiks telling other apparatchiks how great things are going to be.

The event didn’t really provide any new information. Conshohocken is getting a new train station and a parking garage. We really hoped to see renderings and a time line for the improvements. Nothing else to report.
