Rules for the Conshy Dog Park, Membership Info and the Grand Opening

The rules for the Conshy Dog Park were posted yesterday to the borough’s website.  They are:

  • Use dog park at your own risk;
  • Dog owner must in park and within view and voice control of their dog at all times;
  • No food inside dog park;
  • No more than three dogs per person;
  • Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the dog park;
  • Dogs showing aggression must be removed immediately;
  • No dogs in heat;
  • Dogs must be at least six months old;
  • No spike, prong, or pinch collars;
  • Dogs must be licensed and immunized;
  • Please clean up after your dog;
  • Digging is not allowed;
  • Children under the age of sixteen are not permitted without supervision;
  • Failure to abide by rules may result in loss of membership.

The park is located along the river behind the Londonbury Apartments at 300 Washington Street. The membership fee is $10.00 per year. Email Conshydogpark@gmail.com for membership

There will also be a free Grand Opening on July 5th from noon to 4:00 p.m. So bring your pooch out on the 5th to check out the park.
