The rules for the Conshy Dog Park were posted yesterday to the borough’s website. They are:
- Use dog park at your own risk;
- Dog owner must in park and within view and voice control of their dog at all times;
- No food inside dog park;
- No more than three dogs per person;
- Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the dog park;
- Dogs showing aggression must be removed immediately;
- No dogs in heat;
- Dogs must be at least six months old;
- No spike, prong, or pinch collars;
- Dogs must be licensed and immunized;
- Please clean up after your dog;
- Digging is not allowed;
- Children under the age of sixteen are not permitted without supervision;
- Failure to abide by rules may result in loss of membership.
The park is located along the river behind the Londonbury Apartments at 300 Washington Street. The membership fee is $10.00 per year. Email Conshydogpark@gmail.com for membership
There will also be a free Grand Opening on July 5th from noon to 4:00 p.m. So bring your pooch out on the 5th to check out the park.
