The St. Philip Neri School in Lafayette Hill was recognized this week as a recipient of the 2023 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. The school is one of only three Archdiocese of Philadelphia schools and one of 40 nationwide private or religious schools to achieve this distinguished honor. Thirteen schools in Pennsylvania were recognized.

The award comes from the U.S. Department of Education and is based on each school’s overall academic performance, or the progress made to close the achievement gap among students.
