Senator McCormick recently visited two businesses in Conshohocken

Pennsylvania Senator Dave McCormick (R) (pictured left) visited the Spring Mill Campus in Conshohocken (Whitemarsh Township) on March 9th. During his stop he visited the offices of Syzygy, a engineering firm that develops “next generation situational awareness tools while enabling secure communications without barriers.”

In a tweet, following his visit, McCormick highlighted the work being done by Syzygy to help protect communities and high profile events, and then addressed the current shutdown and its impact on this type of business. McCormick wrote:

Syzygy Integration, a fast-growing small business in Conshohocken, provides good jobs and works every day to protect our communities and events like the FIFA World Cup with counter-UAS systems.

But the ongoing Democrat shutdown over DHS funding is directly hurting this work and their clients.

To my Democrat colleagues: end the political games and fund DHS.

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, McCormick also visited ZeroEyes while at the Spring Mill Campus. ZeroEyes offers a software that connects to security camera video feeds, analyzes the images, and alerts authorities if a firearm is detected.

The Philadelphia Inquirer has a more expansive article on McCormick’s visit and his thoughts on the shutdown and Iran. Read it here.
