SEPTA’s Regional Rail to return to more than 80% of pre-pandemic service starting September 8th

SEPTA has announced that the new Regional Rail schedules that begin Sunday, September 8th (view) will increase service to over 80% of pre-pandemic levels on weekdays and weekends.

Specific to the Lansdale/Doylestown line that services the Miquon, Spring Mill, and Conshohocken stations in the Conshohocken zip code, the following changes will be implemented with the new schedule for the weekday inbound:

  • 6249, the 7:45 am Elm Street departure is renumbered 207 and services Penn Medicine Station, arriving at 8:45 am and Wilmington line stations.
  • 2509, the 8:04 am Elm Street departure is renumbered 2809 and operates 4 minutes earlier and express from Manayunk to Center City, arriving at Suburban Station at 8:47 am. Passengers at Wissahickon, East Falls, Allegheny and North Broad stations may use train 2511.
  • 2811, the 8:18 am Miquon departure is renumbered 2511 and departs 6 minutes later at 8:24 am, arriving at Suburban Station at 8:58 am.
  • All off-peak inbound trains depart Conshohocken and Spring Mill stations up to 3 minutes earlier.
  • New reverse peak train 6255 departs Norristown Transit Center at 5:58 pm and arrives at Suburban Station at 6:43 pm.

For the weekday outbound, the new schedule includes the following changes:

  • 3210, the 8:57 am departure is renumbered 5210 and departs all stations 13 minutes earlier to Norristown – Elm Street Station.
  • 3226, the 4:57 pm Suburban Station departure no longer stops at North Broad Street and Allegheny stations. Passengers are advised to use trains 220 and 6256 on the Norristown Line and 6594 on the Lansdale/Doylestown Line.
  • New train 6240 departs Suburban Station at 12:16 am and arrives at Norristown – Elm Street Station at 1:03 am.

For weekend inbound, the changes are as follows:

  • Full weekend hourly service is restored.
  • All current inbound trains depart up to 11 minutes earlier.

For weekend outbound, the changes are as follows:

  • Full weekend hourly service is restored.
  • All current outbound trains operate up to 4 minutes earlier.
  • William H. Gray III 30th Street Station passengers, be advised that weekend trains depart from tracks 5-6 platform.
