As of September 25th, the Montgomery County COVID-19 data hub reports that the 14-day PCR positivity rate for Coronavirus in the county is 2.43%. This dips just below the previous low of 2.45% on August 10th. Having this number below 5% is considered to have the virus under control.
Montgomery County’s hub also shows that there were 42 new cases reported on September 29th and 33 on September 30th. The total number of cases countywide since the start of the pandemic is now 12,030.
Montgomery County reported a death due to Coronavirus on September 30th. There were a total of six deaths in September, one less than the seven reported in August. There were 21 deaths in July, and 106 in June. This brings the total number of deaths countywide since the start of the pandemic to 833.
The number of confirmed deaths tied to a long term care facility is 690 or 83%.
As of September 30th at noon, the state reports that there were 29 patients in Montgomery County hospitals due to Coronavirus. Eight patients require a ventilator.

- Conshohocken is at 68 cases, which is unchanged since September 28th. There have been no deaths.
- West Conshohocken is at 12 cases, which unchanged since September 28th. There have been no deaths
- Plymouth Township is at 229 cases, which is five more cases more than since September 28th. There have been seven deaths.
- Whitemarsh Township is at 243 cases, which is three more than since September 28th. There have been 23 deaths.
