Seven deaths in August due to Coronavirus

Deaths due to Coronavirus have dramatically dropped over the past three months. June had 106, July had 21 and August ended with seven deaths. One death was reported on the last day of August. The total number of deaths countywide since the start of the pandemic is 827.

Cases continue to remain steady. The last 14 days of August saw an average of 41 cases per day.

Since we last posted an update, there were 39 cases of Coronavirus on August 29th, 51 cases on August 30th, and 38 on August 31st. The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic and through the end of August is 10,848.

The local data is as follows:

  • Conshohocken is at 61 cases, which is three more than since August 28th. There have been no deaths.
  • West Conshohocken is at 10 cases, which is no change since August 28th. There have been no deaths
  • Plymouth Township is at 186 cases, which is one more than since August 28th. There have been seven deaths.
  • Whitemarsh Township is at 222 cases, which is seven more than since August 28th. There have been 23 deaths.
