Several Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Graduates Receive Early Acceptance to Top Colleges and Universities

Several Plymouth Whitemarsh High School seniors have received early acceptances at some of the nation’s top colleges and universities.

They are:

Sarina Smith, an Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar and a National Merit Commended Scholar was accepted at Haverford College, the nation’s 11th ranked liberal arts college according to U.S. News & World Report.

Alex Prusky, an AP Scholar with Distinction, will attend Vanderbilt, the nation’s 14th ranked university by U.S. News, while AP Scholar with Honor David Brucker was accepted at the Ivy League’s Cornell University, ranked 16th.

Owen Butler, an AP Scholar with Honor, will attend Emory University, ranked 21st.

Namita Rao, an AP Scholar with Distinction who completed a pre-college artificial intelligence program at 25th ranked Carnegie Mellon University last summer, received an early acceptance to that school.

Jessica Valentine is headed to 44th ranked Tulane University.

Nick Fiddler and Justin Ruggiero were accepted at 49th ranked Villanova. Ruggiero is also awaiting a decision from the United States Naval Academy.

Olivia Andrews was admitted to 53rd ranked University of Miami,

Sadie Stein was accepted at 53rd Lehigh University. Lehigh and Miami were tied at 53 in the US News rankings.

This year’s graduation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12th.
