PennDOT announced recently announced that shoulder stabilization is scheduled on Route 23 (River Road) in Upper Merion Township and West Conshohocken starting Wednesday, January 17th and concluding Friday, January 19th. The work will result in a lane closure from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day between Balligomingo Road and Route 320 (Swedeland Road).

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
