Mayor Bob Frost of Conshohocken has declared a snow emergency starting Friday evening at 10:00 p.m. Below is the notice:

DECLARATION OF SNOW EMERGENCY:

BOROUGH of CONSHOHOCKEN
DECLARATION 2016-01

The Mayor has declared a snow emergency will be in effect within the Borough beginning at 10:00 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2016, and continuing thereafter until rescinded or as provided by law. The following acts shall be unlawful, and shall be punishable as provided under law:

A. To park a motor vehicle or to allow that vehicle to remain parked anywhere on any snow emergency route so duly designated; or
B. To drive any motor vehicle on any such snow emergency route, unless that vehicle is equipped with snow tires or chains.

The Office of the Borough Manager will be disseminating information on the snow emergency as information becomes available.
