The power is still out for 4,760 accounts across the Philadelphia region the day after Christmas due to a Christmas Eve storm that brought heavy rains and winds.
Below is the breakdown of the local outages and when they are expected to be restored.
The outage near Leeland Park is one of the few outages projected to be restored today. Power is expected to be restored by 8:00 p.m. The issue was a transformer. The outage off Julia Drive is projected to be restored on December 27th at 11:00 p.m. It is still under evaluation.
Some good news. Last night there were three other outages along this section of Joshua Road. They had a projected restoration time on December 27th, but they were all restored overnight. The remaining one at the intersection with Flourtown Road is projected to be restored on December 27th at 11:00 p.m. No cause is given.
Both of these outage are scheduled to be restored on December 27th. The one off Narcissa Road is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. and the one of Anthony Drive is scheduled for 11:00 p.m.
This outage on Lafayette Avenue has a projected restoration time of December 27th at 11:00 p.m.
