As we mentioned a couple months ago, a local restaurant was sold and was to become an Indian-American fusion restaurant. That changeover happened recently and the 401 Diner is now 401 Nirvana.

The new owner is Nabin Chhantyal and the chef is Jagmeet “Happy” Singh, who was most recently the chef at Spice Kitchen in Trooper. The plan is to keep the 401 Diner’s menu for breakfast and lunch, but offer an Indian-American fusion menu starting at 5:00 p.m.

They are open under the new name, but the old sign is still outside. No website or online menu yet, so stay tuned for more details.
