The Biscuit Lady has announced that its new Plymouth Meeting location at 115 Plymouth Road in Plymouth Meeting (Plymouth Township) is set to open on Saturday, June 8th. This space was previously home to Bryn & Dane’s/Fudi.
If you aren’t familiar with it, The Biscuit Lady opened in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia in October 2022 by Plymouth Meeting resident Tara Torrence. The menu features buttery homemade biscuits baked fresh every morning, along with other items like breakfast sandwiches (on biscuits of course) and Holy Biscuits, Torrence’s version of a donut. To create the Holy Biscuits, Torrence fries buttermilk biscuits and adds a variety of toppings. There are also house-made jams.
In Roxborough, the business shares space with Lucky’s Trading Co. at 5154 Ridge Avenue. For the second location, Torrence sought a bigger space that would allow her to expand the menu and be open for longer hours.
The Plymouth Meeting location will offer more space than Roxborough for people to enjoy their biscuits at the restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. She describes it as a breakfast restaurant or “spot” with specialty biscuits.
The hours for the grand open on June 8th are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
More to come.
