During a press conference on Thursday, June 25th, Montgomery County officials announced that there are 48 new cases of Coronavirus in the county, with one coming from a long-term care facility. The new total of cases countywide since the start of the pandemic is now 8,153.
Zero new confirmed deaths due to Coronavirus were reported. The total number of confirmed death sits at 790. Probable deaths, those without a lab test to confirm, is at 90. Deaths involving a long-term care facility represent 84% of the confirmed deaths.
The county’s hospitals report that there are just under 90 patients hospitalized due to Coronavirus. Approximately 20 are on a ventilator.

The two charts above show the number of new positive cases over the past 14 days. The number of cases has declined by 472 in comparison to the previous 14 days. While the state has abandoned the formula of needing to have an average of no more than 30 cases per day over 14-days to reach the yellow phase of reopening, the charts show that Montgomery County is 3.6 cases off that original benchmark.

- Plymouth Township is at 125 cases, which is no change
- There have been seven deaths in Plymouth
- Whitemarsh Township is at 151 cases, which is one more than June 24
- There have been 23 deaths in Whitemarsh
