The Fulton temporarily closes to add a deck for outdoor dining

In 2021 and 2022, restaurateur Evan Lambert sought and received approval from Plymouth Township to add a deck to what had been the Old Mansion House at 641 Old Elm Street in Conshohocken (Plymouth Township). Lambert was planning for a new restaurant in the space, and the deck would add approximately 40 additional seats for outdoor dining on a seasonal basis.

In June 2025, Lambert opened The Fulton, a contemporary Irish tavern, without the addition of the deck. MoreThanTheCurve.com recently spoke with Lambert, who shared that he wanted to open, connect with the neighborhood, ensure everything was working, and then expand.

Lambert has temporarily closed The Fulton to begin the process of adding the deck and other enhancements he has not yet shared. Look for a reopening this spring. His full statement to MoreThanTheCurve.com is below:

The Fulton is pausing service TEMPORARILY during the winter months as we begin preparing for an exciting new phase for the property — including plans for outdoor dining and enhancements designed to elevate the guest experience.
