The Philadelphia Business Journal reported today that The Greene Turtle in East Norriton has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The location opened in August of 2018.

The East Norriton restaurant was one of two franchise locations the Maryland-based chain opened in Pennsylvania. The original Pennsylvania franchise location in North Wales is still open. The original plan was to open 15 in a handful of Pennsylvania counties.
