The restaurant scene in Conshohocken, West Conshohocken, Plymouth Meeting, and Lafayette Hill is as busy as ever. Below we break down what recently opened, what is in the pipeline to open, and spaces that are available to open a restaurant.
Recent Openings
Merenda Box recently opened at 801 East Hector Street in Conshohocken. The Brazlian bakery is from the same ownership as ‘feine.
Catch 101 recently opened at 101 Ford Street in West Conshohocken. The seafood restaurant is from the same ownership as Jasper’s Backyard.
Westside Bar & Grill recently opened at 31 Front Street in West Conshohocken. The restaurant is from the same ownership as Jasper’s Backyard and Catch 101.
Chipotle recently moved from within the Plymouth Meeting Mall to a former bank along Germantown Pike near the intersection of Germantown Pike and Hickory Road (on the outskirts of the mall).
Real Fruit Bubble Tea recently opened at the Plymouth Meeting Mall on the outside of the Whole Foods Market side.
Coming Soon (or not-so-soon)
Mochi Ring Donut seemed to be moving fairly quickly toward an opening, but its Instagram hasn’t been updated since January 12th when it said it would open soon.
M&M Dim Sum & HK BBQ Restaurant has signed a lease for the space that was most recently Snap Custom Pizza. There is an existing location in Paoli.
Café du Coeur was originally supposed to open near the end of 2022 within the Shopper’s World Shopping Center in Lafayette Hill. The social media accounts, which haven’t been updated in a few months, now say the cafe will open in 2023.
Honeygrow announced a location next to Shake Shack on the outskirts of the Plymouth Meeting Mall. There is a sign at the location, but the building has yet to be constructed.
The Goat’s Beard is planning to open its third location at Spring Mill Campus on East Hector Street in Conshohocken. Thus far an outside dining area was approved and it is currently going through the liquor license transfer process.
Spots Available to Open a Restaurant
In this section, we are including any restaurant locations available for lease, purchase, or sale, that we have not heard a firm name for in regard to a new tenant or owner. That means that it is possible they have a new tenant or owner that we haven’t learned about yet.
Ashley’s Deli closed in January. Two unrelated people told us that a very prominent pizza place in Philadelphia was going to open a suburban location at this location in Conshohocken, but we have not been able to confirm it.
PokeOno closed in December 2022. We have heard it will be an Asian restaurant, but have not been able to confirm it.
The Caspian Grille space in Lafayette Hill has been listed for lease and the business is listed for sale for $100,000. Please note it continues to be open until it is sold.
Fresco Pizza in King of Prussia is listed for sale, along with the property. This is located just off River Road between West Conshohocken and Bridgeport. Please note it continues to be open until it is sold.
15 Plymouth Road in Plymouth Meeting was the home of Bryn & Dane’s/Foodi and is available for lease.
At the Plymouth Meeting Mall, the former Bertucci’s, Elevation Burger, Chipotle, and Zoup are available.
The former Whitemarsh Valley Inn at 474 Germantown Pike in Lafayette Hill is available for lease.
