The Positive Pooch has three types of classes for dogs set to begin in March in West Conshohocken

The Positive Pooch in West Conshohocken will have three new classes starting in March for dogs of various stages and behaviors. Details for each class are below:

Puppy Class
For all puppies under six months old. In this class we will teach the foundation skills every puppy needs, including sit, down, come, heel, and stay. We will also work on common puppy challenges such as jumping up and nipping, while focusing on proper socialization to build confidence and good manners.

Beginner Class
For all dogs over six months old. This class focuses on essential obedience skills such as loose-leash walking, come, stay, focus, and down. We will also address jumping up, appropriate socialization, and introduce the “go to place” command to help your dog settle and relax at home and in public settings.

Reactive Dog Class
Does the thought of taking your dog for a walk fill you with stress? Do you find yourself constantly avoiding other dogs? If your dog reacts by barking, lunging, growling, or chasing cars, this class is for you. This is a structured group class where you will learn how to manage and change your dog’s emotional response to triggers, helping both you and your dog feel more confident and in control.
