During a February 19th meeting of the Plymouth Township Emergency Services Board it was stated that the closed steel plant at 900 Conshohocken Road in Conshohocken (Plymouth Township) has been a target for thieves seeking scrap metal.

Sgt. Christopher Schwartz offered that police have responded to the facility nearly a dozen times for burglary calls since January 1st. Eight arrests have been made.

The property owner has added 24-hour security.
