Tickets on sale for The Colonial Players of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School’s production of “Matilda the Musical”

Plymouth Meeting – The Colonial Players of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School are thrilled to announce their upcoming production of the Tony Award-winning Roald Dahl’s “Matilda The Musical” based on his beloved novel and licensed by Music Theatre International. This captivating show celebrates the power of imagination and tells the inspiring story of a young girl who dares to change her destiny.

“Matilda the Musical” follows the story of Matilda Wormwood (played by Haley Braun), a brilliant and brave young girl with a vivid imagination and extraordinary abilities. Despite being severely mistreated by her parents (played by Caleb Edwin and Rosie Ounsworth) and the tyrannical school headmistress Miss Trunchbull (played by Max Erdakos-Roizman), Matilda finds support from her teacher, Miss Honey (played by Avery LaViola) and ultimately uses her wit and courage to stand up for herself and her friends, discovering her true potential along the way.

Filled with high-energy songs, dazzling performances, and heartwarming moments, it’s a show for all ages—perfect for families, students, and theater-lovers alike.

TICKETS

Tickets range from $12 to $15 and can be purchased in advance at www.colonialplayers.org/Matilda. Tickets will be sold outside the auditorium at Will Call prior to the performances, starting 45 minutes before each show. All seating is assigned. Please note limited tickets remain for the matinee performance on March 15.
