Two cyclists recently hit crossing Harry Street along Schuylkill River Trail in Conshohocken

According to sources, two cyclists on the Schuylkill River Trail were recently struck while crossing Harry Street in Conshohocken. We are told that there is an ongoing issue with cyclists not stopping at the stop signs at the intersection. Vehicles coming over the railroad tracks from Washington Street have the right-of-way, while vehicles coming down Harry Street from West Elm Street and cyclists on the trail all have stop signs.

Norristown: Police activity at Conshohocken Station has been cleared, and trains are back on the move. Expect residual delays of up to 20 minutes.

The latest incident was on June 4th in the early evening. The cyclist who was struck was carrying a firearm, which ended up landing on the vehicle. The cyclist ran from the scene and was arrested. During the incident SEPTA suspended Regional Rail service.

We do not know if either cyclist was injured.
