Two new restaurant concepts replacing Daniel’s in Conshohocken

The intersection of East 1st Avenue with Harry Street and Spring Mill Avenue is set to have two, make that three, restaurant openings in the near future. Earlier today, MoreThanTheCurve.com shared details on Masala Symphony, opening at 16 East 1st Avenue in Conshohocken.

We also learned today that the former Daniel’s, which shares an address with Masala Symphony, will reopen as two restaurants: a daytime cafe in one space and a bar and restaurant for dinner in another. A burst pipe damaged Daniel’s in January, and it has been closed since. During that time, the ownership decided to change the concept.

The cafe, Cafe Neos, will offer a “bright, modern, daytime café and coffee bar designed to be Conshohocken’s Third Place.” The menu will feature bold espresso, “house-made, high-end” pastries, light lunch fare, and beverages, along with wine and cocktails.

Neos Americana will be “an intimate dinner destination drawing from the depth and simplicity of Mediterranean cooking, where the kitchen and bar reflect a shared devotion to craft and connection.” The mezze-style menu will feature dishes prepared on a charcoal grill.

Stay tuned for more information.
