Two Plymouth Township police officers were struck by a vehicle following an attempted traffic stop in Plymouth Meeting, according to a report by NBC10. The incident occurred just before 1:00 p.m. NBC10 reported that police were investigating a vehicle driving erratically.

MoreThanTheCurve.com visited the scene and can report that Walton Road is closed in that area, and the area around the DoubleTree Hotel, along with nearby areas along Hickory Road, have been taped off. Hickory Road was open. There is a very large police presence in that area.

We were on the scene when a police officer was transported by a helicopter to a hospital. The helicopter landed at the Plymouth Meeting Mall. The other officer was transported by an ambulance. We do not know their condition.
