There were questions by some on social media today regarding why “no parking” signs for August 13-16 were placed along East Hector Street in Conshohocken. The road was recently paved and at least some residents believed that the work had been completed.
According to a representative of PennDOT the paving has been completed, however, the contractor is still in the process of adding permanent line striping and sealing some joints and finishing other miscellaneous work. The “no parking” signs were needed to allow for this work to be completed, which could extend into Thursday, August 15th (yes, we realize the signs say August 16th, but that was what we were told).
