A water main break occurred along the 100 block of Fayette Street in Conshohocken on Wednesday, September 3rd, at approximately 12:00 p.m. Portions of the 100 block of Fayette Street and West Second Avenue were coned off to redirect traffic.
The Borough of Conshohocken has issued an alert stating that Aqua will be turning off the water by 3:00 p.m., which could impact water service on both sides of Fayette Street between First and Fourth avenues. The outage is expected to last six to nine hours.

There appear to be two problem areas. One is along Fayette between Third and Fourth avenues. Aqua’s website reports that the water shutoff could last for up to 12 hours and is impacting up to 100 accounts. The water was shut off at 3:16 p.m.

Then, Aqua reports an issue at the corner of Fayette and East 2nd Avenue, and its website indicates that the water should be restored by 7:37 p.m.
