The League of Women Voters of Delaware County recently held a candidate forum with the two candidates seeking to replace State Senator Daylin Leach (D) in the Pennsylvania Senate 17th District. Leach was defeated in the primary by Amanda Cappelletti (D). Cappelletti will face Ellen Fisher (R) in the general election.

The Pennsylvania Senate 17th District includes West Conshohocken, Plymouth Township, Whitpain Township, and other communities outside our coverage area in Montgomery and Delaware counties.
