Villanova University is seeking to add a modern digital billboard with a LED screen at Villanova Ballpark at Plymouth, located within Plymouth Township’s Community Center Park. The township and the university came to an agreement in 2001 and it officially opened in 2003 when Villanova hosted Notre Dame for its first game.

The ballpark currently has a traditional electronic scoreboard in a left field location. The proposed new scoreboard would be in right field and face Germantown Pike.

The university will be making a presentation on the proposal during the February 2nd meeting of Plymouth Township’s council. It is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the township building.
