The Walgreens located at 3300 Dekalb Pike in East Norriton will close permanently on May 19th at noon. Those who regularly fill their prescriptions will be able to fill a prescription at all Walgreens nationwide. More details can be found here.

The closure of the East Norriton store is part of a larger plan to close up to 500 stores in 2025 and 1,200 stores over the next three years. Walgreens referred to the closures as a cost-cutting initiative and part of a plan to optimize its store footprint.
