The Washington Fire Company No. 1 was restored to active service as of 8:30 a.m. on September 3rd. The fire company was taken off active service when the Borough of Conshohocken removed the Borough owned fire trucks on July 5th. The trucks were removed over a dispute involving audits.

The Borough returned the fire trucks on August 28th.
