Wawa Developer Seeking Land Development Waiver in Whitemarsh

The property at 12th Avenue and Fayette Street which is the site of a controversial effort to build a Wawa with gas pumps straddles the border of the Borough of Conshohocken and Whitemarsh Township. Approximately 20% of the property is on the Whitemarsh side of the border.

Conshohocken’s Borough Council approved the Wawa by a vote of four to three a few months ago and now the developer, Provco Pineville, is seeking a land development waiver from Whitemarsh Township. From the agenda for tonight’s (Tuesday, March 13th) meeting:
