The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board auctioned off 25 restaurant liquor licenses this month and Wawa secured two of the licenses.

For a license in Philadelphia, Wawa paid $186,357, and for one in Delaware County it paid $160,357.

There was a license up for auction in Montgomery County, but Wawa did not get it.

According to PhillyVoice.com, Wawa sells alcohol at 100 locations, but only one is in Pennsylvania (Chadds Ford).
