Well Crafted Beer Company is preparing to toast its one year of operation at its second location in Ambler on Saturday, April 22nd when it hosts its “Ambler’s 1st Anniversary Party.” Activities are planned indoors and outdoors from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Their beer garden will be set up street fair style with food vendors, live music, and yard games and it’s an event you won’t want to miss! RSVP for the anniversary party online.

The brewer plans to release three special beers for the occasion, plus offer cocktails, wine, ciders, and nonalcoholic drinks. Skippack-based Scratch Kitchen, Philly-based Moshava, and Maria’s Baby Cakes food truck will be selling their tacos, Israeli dishes, and desserts. Playing live music will be Dale Ciccarelli, a pop and rock musician from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by Sister Blue, a driving blues band with powerful vocals and stinging guitar, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Well Crafted started as a homebrewing hobby and grew into a commercial brewery five years ago at 310 Madison Street in Lansdale. The brewery was embraced by the Lansdale community and eventually needed to find additional spaces to increase its production and taproom capacity. That space was found within Ambler Yards in Ambler. Well Crafted is owned by three Plymouth Meeting residents, Rick Solomon and Doug and Nica Bellenger, along with Joe Provo and Matt Bolton.

In December of 2022, Well Crafted was named Montgomery County’s Chamber of Commerce ‘Business of the Year’ for their accomplishments in bringing job opportunities, manufacturing, community, arts, and for their charitable efforts in the community.

This year the beer company plans to make upgrades to the Ambler facility including adding water filtration, more refrigeration for finished products, and larger brewing tanks made possible by small business funding and support through Ambler Savings Bank. The outdoor beer garden layout will be updated as well.

Well Crafted beer is now available in seven counties in Southeast PA and some grocery stores like Wegmans. The brewer offers staple beers like its popular Hop Monger Hazy IPA, Cirrocumulus Hazy Pale Ale, and unexpected mashups like Blonde Americano, a light-colored Blonde Stout. The beer is ‘well crafted for you’ with a style for everyone.
