Where to buy a Christmas tree locally

There are three local spots to pick up a Christmas tree this holiday season. In Lafayette Hill, Boy Scout Troop 12 is holding its annual tree sale in the lower parking lot at Miles Park. The hours are Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Balsam fir trees are available. Trees start at $65.00, and are $70 for 9′, and $75 for over 12′.

The second location is at the Conshohocken Free Library. Local landscaper Brad Byrne operates this sale and a portion goes back to the library. They currently have Douglas anc concolor fir trees from 3′ to 12′. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday from noon to 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wreaths and trees stands are also available. Delivery is available.

The Harmonville Fire Company’s tree sale takes place at its station at 904 Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting. Douglas Fir’s are available this year and various sizes are available. It is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
