There is an open seat on Conshohocken’s Planning Commission according to the Borough’s website. What does the Planning Commission do? Here is the description from the website:

The mission of the Planning Commission shall be to promote, with the greatest efficiency and economy, the coordinated development of the Borough and the general welfare and prosperity of its people; the aim of the Commission shall be to secure the uniform and harmonious growth of the Borough; its prime function shall be to investigate advise and recommend with respect to municipal planning.

Or as Nathan Hauk would say, it is a panel of people you have to grovel to about what you can and can’t do with your own property.
