The Philadelphia Business Journal reported on February 13th that PREIT, the owner of the Plymouth Meeting Mall has sold the portion of the mall that is home to Whole Foods Market. The 65,000-square-foot space was listed for sale in 2021 and sold for $27 million to Agree Realty, a Michigan real estate company.
This doesn’t mean Whole Foods is closing. Whole Foods has a long-term lease on the space according to The Philadelphia Business Journal.
