The zoning hearing in Plymouth Township for a proposed 11-story apartment building at the Plymouth Meeting Mall kicked off last night. The first portion of the hearing provided PREIT’s attorney and an expert witness on land development to introduce the proposed development and highlight why PREIT should receive a special exception to allow the apartments.
The testimony last night mostly came right from the application that MoreThanTheCurve.com previously recapped (find here).
The hearing will be continued on December 21st when the township’s attorney will cross-examine PREIT’s land development expert witness. The township is opposing the application.
The hearing is expected to last approximately another three hours.
