Apartment Community in Conshohocken Warns Residents About Motorcycle Thefts

A reader who lives in Riverwalk at Millennium (it is one of the large apartment communities on the river) forwarded us the below email notice that was sent by Riverwalk’s management today to alert residents about recent motorcycle thefts from the property. If you are in the area and own a motorcycle, you will want to read the notice:

Dear Residents,

It was recently brought to our attention that the eastern portion of Montgomery County, and this area in particular, has experienced a number of motorcycle thefts over the past few months. Unfortunately, there have been two motorcycle thefts here at Riverwalk over the last two weeks.

Riverwalk at Millennium has been working with local law enforcement to assist with apprehending those responsible. Through video footage captured by our security cameras, we were able to determine that the perpetrators are a well organized group of three to four people. The Conshohocken Police Department is in possession of this video footage.

We want to make all residents aware of this problem, not just at the community, but in the surrounding area. We ask residents with motorcycles to secure their bikes in the best way possible. A standard steering column lock will not deter this group. We also ask that residents be vigilant, and if anything or anyone seems suspicious please call 911. As always, please do not allow anyone you do not know access to our buildings.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact the management office.

Sincerely,
Riverwalk at Millennium Management

Back in February, three ATV’s were stolen in one night.
