Sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. a vehicle struck a yard hydrant on the backside of Best Buy at The Metroplex and sent water gushing into the air. The water was eventually shutoff, but not before the geyser took over local social media with numerous photos and videos. The photos below show the yard hydrant before and after the incident.
