An alert reader sent us a message last night regarding Irish Republican Army (IRA) graffiti that was painted on the wall around A. A. Garthwaite Stadium in Conshohocken. We stopped by this morning and the gaffiti includes an Irish Flag with IRA over it and 1916 below it.

We looked up the relevance of 1916 and in that year Irish volunteers had an uprising against British rule. It actually predates the formation of the IRA.
