The Colonial School District (CSD), which includes Conshohocken Elementary School, is looking forward to welcoming new kindergartners for the 2014-2015 school year. Registration is now underway for children who will turn five years of age by September 15, 2014. Below is information about the district, curriculum and how to register:
The CSD provides a comprehensive full-day kindergarten program which develops children academically, physically, emotionally and socially. Children in kindergarten receive daily instruction in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. In addition, children participate daily in one specialist class of physical education, technology, library, art or music.
Parents should make an appointment to enroll their child now so that the District may plan the appropriate number of classes for the upcoming school year. Each K-3 building will host a Kindergarten Orientation for parents on Thursday, May 1 at 7 pm.
To register a child, parents will need to contact the CSD Central Registration Office at (610) 834-1671, ext. 2150 to make an appointment. Appointments can be made for the Central Registration Office at anytime, or the registration process can be completed at one of the K-3 Elementary Schools by appointment on the following dates:
- Ridge Park Elementary School – April 7-10
- Whitemarsh Elementary School – March 24-27
- Plymouth Elementary School – April 21-24
- Conshohocken Elementary School – March 31-April 3
