Last Thursday and Friday, 942 inmates and 307 staff members, and 61 healthcare workers at the Montgomery County Correction Facility were tested. All of the tests are back for the inmates and 171 were found to be positive (18%). Below is a chart of the number of positive tests over 14 days as reported by the county. While we were told that the state data (which is higher) was the number to be used, we also confirmed with the state that it is cleaning up its data. The county does this before it releases a number each day (it takes the date from state and checks for dupes and non-Montco residents). Due to this, the numbers should eventually correspond.

** On April 21st, County Commissioner Dr. Val Arkoosh stated that the number was likely low due to an issue with receiving results back from the county’s testing site. It was never clarified if the number was correct or if any positive results were lumped in on another date.
*** The county’s testing site in Blue Bell reopened on April 16th and could be the reason this date is higher than others.
