Plymouth Whitemarsh High School’s graduation will take place on Colonial Field on Wednesday, June 11th, at 6:00 p.m. The ceremony will be broadcast live on the district’s CITV YouTube channel.
Speaking during the ceremony will be the Class of 2025’s Sierra Tirendi, Superintendent Dr. Michael Christian, and Principal Dr. Jason Bacani. Poet Laureate Gianna Morgan-Johnson and Class President Carley Lefkowitz will also present.
Here are some interesting facts about this year’s 402 graduates:
- 91 percent are going to four- or two-year colleges/universities (80 percent to four-year institutions and 20 percent to two-year institutions)
- 9 percent are going into the military, entering the job market, or considering options through a gap year
- The Class of 2025 has received over $9.3 million in scholarships
- 38 percent of the class will graduate with a weighted cumulative GPA of 4.0 or higher
- The Class of 2025 includes nine National Merit Scholarship Program Commended Students, five National Merit Scholarship Program Finalists, and two National Merit Scholarship Program Recipients.
In the event of inclement weather, a decision will be made by June 11th at 4:00 p.m. on whether to delay the ceremony until later the same day or have it the following day.
