58 Townhouses at Butler and Skippack Back Before Whitemarsh’s Board of Supervisors

On the September 26th agenda for the Whitemarsh Township Board of Supervisors is a second hearing for a proposal to build 58 townhouses near the corner of Butler Pike and Skippack Pikes (basically behind the water tower). The developer needs the Board of Supervisors to approve a conditional use application to move forward. The Planning Commission voted to not recommend the proposal.

The issue is mixed up with a controversy involving a zoning change that added townhouses as a conditional use within the VC-4 zoning district.
