Borough of Conshohocken takes step towards purchasing property adjacent to future public safety facility

During its March 4th meeting, Conshohocken’s borough council voted unanimously on a resolution that would allow the borough to offer $615,000 for the property at 1105 Fayette Street in Conshohocken.

In a statement to MoreThanTheCurve.com, the Borough of Conshohocken offered that the reason for seeking to acquire the property is tied to the redevelopment of the neighboring property into a public safety facility that would house Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2 and Narberth Ambulance. The neighboring property, which was a car dealership for decades, was purchased by the borough in 2024 for $5,100,000.

The 1105 Fayette property is currently owned by Ratoskey & Trainer since 2021, when the company purchased it for $392,000. On the 7,800 square foot property is a single family home with four bedrooms and two baths. The 2,032 square foot home was built in 1920.

The borough is currently awaiting the property owner’s response to its offer. You can find the borough’s statement to MoreThanTheCurve.com below:
