The proposed Wawa is on the agenda for Conshohocken’s Borough Council at its Wednesday, October 18th meeting. This is not a decision to allow a Wawa, but more of a procedural decision. The Borough must advertise the proposed amendment to the Borough’s zoning code prior to holding a hearing.
If Borough Council declines to advertise the proposed amendment, than the Wawa is effectively dead. If it decides to advertise it, then there will be a hearing or series of hearing to determine Borough Council’s support in amending the zoning code to allow a Wawa type business at 12th and Fayette.
More to come.
