The Borough of Conshohocken announced today that it is going to allow the construction of SORA West to start an hour earlier than what is normally allowed on Saturdays. Instead of starting at 8:30 a.m., the construction crew will be able to start at 7:30 a.m.
Below is the notice:
The Borough of Conshohocken has temporarily approved a construction start time at the SORA site on Saturdays at 7:30 AM until further notice. The ordinance currently allows construction to take place from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. It is our hope that this additional hour will enable the project contractor to recover any ground in terms of schedule that has been lost due to weather or unforeseen conditions. The overall goal is to keep the project timeline on track so as not to extend the impact that the construction has on the residents and businesses in the surrounding locations. This extension of one hour on Saturdays is temporary and was approved contingent upon the Borough’s ability to revoke the approval upon receipt of any negative feedback from residents. Please contact Borough Hall with any questions or concerns at 610-828-1092.
