Montgomery County Treasurer Jason Salus today announced the opening of doe license sales. The first round of sales, according to Salus, begins for Pennsylvania residents on Monday, July 14th.
“Hunters who would like the best chance of obtaining an antlerless deer license should apply during the first round of sales which starts on Monday,” Salus stated. “These licenses sell out quickly every year and as a result of a decreased allocation across the Commonwealth, this year is likely to be no different.”
Hunters applying for the 2014-15 antlerless deer licenses will follow the same process they have during recent years. License fees, $6.70 for Pennsylvania residents, have also remained unchanged, said Salus.
Applications may be mailed directly to Treasurer Salus’ office at One Montgomery Plaza, Sixth Floor, P.O. Box 311, Norristown PA 19404. Questions? Call (610) 278-3066.
