Lower Merion Township has announced that PECO will close a portion of Conshohocken State Road in Gladwyne from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays from February 3rd through about July 31st. The portion closed will be from Waverly Road to Spring Mill Road.

The road closure is for the installation of a new large diameter gas main which requires oversized construction equipment. The equipment will be moved to accommodate emergency vehicles and school district buses as needed.

The northbound detour route around the work zone is west on Waverly Road, then north on Morris Avenue, then East on Spring Mill Road, back to Conshohocken State Road. The southbound detour route is the reverse.

No weekend work is scheduled at this time.
