There is a lot going on for the July 4th weekend in Conshohocken, West Conshohocken, Plymouth Township, and Whitemarsh Township. Below we broke down the celebrations and what a few restaurants are doing. If you are staying in town, check it all out.
Fireworks in Conshohocken
The fireworks are scheduled for July 3rd at 9:00 p.m. Sutcliffe Park will be closed, and the fireworks are shot high enough into the sky to be viewed from most parts of the borough.
If you prefer to watch with others, in West Conshohocken, you can meet at Saint Gertrude’s Park for free ice cream from Frosty Falls at 8:30 p.m. and watch the show at 9:00 p.m. The Plymouth Fire Company allows parking on its property for a donation starting at 6:00 p.m.
July 4th Parade in Whitemarsh Township
The annual 4th of July Parade will be held on Friday, July 4th, starting at 10:00 a.m. The parade route begins at the Barren Hill Fire Company and ends at Miles Park. Immediately following the event, everyone is invited to Miles Park, where a community picnic with music, free hot dogs, free chicken wings from Streetside BBQ, and beverages hosted by the Lions Club of Whitemarsh.
Soapbox Derby in Conshohocken
The annual Soapbox Derby in Conshohocken will begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Fayette Street (starts on the 800 block and ends between 5th and 6th avenues. Runs into the afternoon.
July 4th Parade in Plymouth Township
The township’s emergency service providers will parade through the township on July 4th starting at 10:00 a.m. You can find the route and schedule here.
Flanigan’s Boathouse will be open 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on July 3rd, closed on July 4th, and open as usual for the weekend.
Below Deck Bottle Shop will be open on July 4th from noon to 8:00 p.m.
Southern Cross Kitchen will be open for brunch on Friday, July 4th, starting at 10:30 a.m.
The StoneRose, Bar Lucca, and Bar Sera will be open on Friday, July 4th, from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The StoneRose will be open for the fireworks on July 3rd and offers a great view.
1874 Social at Hotel West & Main is kicking off Fourth of July weekend with a special edition of their First Fridays celebration — a themed happy hour series hosted both inside the restaurant and out on the plaza. There will be live music from Montoj, outdoor games, and featured specialty espresso martinis, as well as Fourth of July-themed cocktails. Runs from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Gypy Saloon will be open its regular hours all holiday weekend and is offering, in addition to its regular menu, two special menus: a July 4th menu and a seafood-centric Under the Sea menu. There will be live music every night.
The Daisy Tavern will be open on July 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Conshy Corner Tavern will be open on July 4th from noon to 2:00 a.m. The kitchen will be open.
The Conshohocken Farmers’ Market will open on Saturday, July 5th, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Find all the details here.
