Approved apartments at Conshohocken/Whitemarsh border on January 13th meeting of Conshohocken’s Planning Commission

As MoreThanTheCurve.com reported in November of 2021, KRE Acquisitions sought and was granted a series of variances in Whitemarsh Township’s zoning hearing board for a 598 unit apartment community straddling the border of the township and the Borough of Conshohocken at 401-433 Washington Street on the Schuylkill River.

In Conshohocken, KRE didn’t need any approvals as the property was previously approved for apartments through a 2014 settlement agreement the borough made with the property’s previous owner.

On the January 19th agenda for Conshohocken’s Planning Commission is a review of the plans for the development. From the agenda:

Review of Preliminary/Final Land Development Plan for 401-433 Washington Street: KRE Acquisition Corp., Applicant (subject to 10.22.2014 Settlement Agreement)

Note that this is not a process to determine if apartments will be allowed at this location. That is settled. This review involves specific aspects of the plan.

The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the borough hall building at 400 Fayette Street.
